He conducts individual, couples and family therapy to people of all ages. Ron strives to provide professional and individualized assessment and interventions to meet your unique needs. He has a relaxed interpersonal style, where building an empathetic and deeply compassionate therapeutic relationship, works in conjunction with a touch of humor in his clinical work.
Amanda Cichanowski has her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. She also holds a B.A. in both Special and Elementary Education. Amanda has served as a Learning Behavior Specialist for the past 10 years. She specializes in children, adolescents, families all from a variety of demographic and cultural backgrounds. Amanda’s approach to counseling is from the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy technique. She has taken on different roles that include but are not limited to therapy, teaching, tutoring, and advocating for families with children who require additional support. Amanda’s passion is to help others. Her compassion for her clients is evident in the way she presents herself. She is an advocate; and advocate who believes in the successes possible for each unique individual.
Megan is a pre-licensed counselor with a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lewis University, where she specialized in children and adolescents. She understands that beginning the healing process can feel overwhelming, which is why she offers a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel seen, heard, and supported as they navigate challenges like identity, confidence, boundaries, trauma, life transitions, anxiety, and depression.
Believing that a strong therapeutic relationship is key to meaningful change, Megan collaborates with clients to clarify their goals, explore challenges, and build lasting insight and resilience. Her approach encourages reflection, self-discovery, and personal growth, helping clients reconnect with their inner strength and wisdom. She does a lot of work with teens and young adults who are going through challenges related to their current stage of life. Kristina is an advocate for maternal mental health and helping parents and families thrive. She empowers clients to develop short term and long term goals that can be integrated into their daily lives in order to make life less stressful. Kristina has experience working in a wide range of settings, including residential care, education, and community services. She has expertise in school refusal and school related anxiety. Kristina believes that genuine and empathetic listening is one of the most important parts about the therapeutic process and that every individual has the right to feel seen and heard. It is a privilege for Kristina to be part of the healing journey for each individual.
Max is a pre-licensed counselor with a Master's Degree in Sports Psychology. He specializes in adolescents and young adults dealing with depression and anxiety and clients struggling with life skills such as healthy routines and habits. Being recently retired from professional hockey, he can relate to issues of transition and adversities that effect clients and athletes. He has the desire and passion to help the next generation master the mental side of game and life. The skills and techniques he creates helps his clients achieve their highest goals.
Dr. Agnieszka Tulowiecka has her master’s and doctoral degrees from Governors State University. Her counseling background extends to working with adolescents and adult clients. She has clinical experience working with individuals with substance abuse issues, trauma, and mental health disorders. She is an advocate for individuals maintaining a healthy lifestyle focused on nutrition and emotional well-being. Dr. Tulowiecka has held many professional roles, including counselor, professor, business owner, divorce mediator, and translator/interpreter with the Cook County court system. Dr. Tulowiecka takes a caring, compassionate, and humorous approach to working with clients. Dr. Tulowiecka embraces her work with diverse populations and strongly advocates for immigrants and 1st generation clients and students as they adjust to life in the United States. Dr. Tulowiecka creates emotionally safe spaces for clients to explore the issues they bring to counseling and helps them explore how these issues impact their lives. Dr. Tulowiecka is kind and personable. She sees counseling as a collaborative encounter where she and clients work together to achieve their goals. Dr. Tulowiecka is fluent in polish language.
